“ I found this charming restaurant on recommendation from friends after tasting the best challah. This was my second visit to The Baker for late breakfast. On the first visit, I left with a loaf of yummy whole grain bread after it was served with my breakfast. Oh, and my meal was accompanied by a board of bread, jam, and other yummy items. The menu is filled with selections from around the world: burritos, shakshuka, French toast, Assyrian omelettes, lox and bagels, burgers, salads, etc. On this visit, the waitress was accommodating with my special requests. I took one bite of the simple field greens salad that accompanied my entree, and asked for a pint of the in-house made salad dressing to go. I spoke with both the owner and baker, Jackie and Adnon, about the delicious dressing and food, and we chatted for awhile. Jackie gave me a loaf of delicious challah to celebrate my retirement! This charming cafe has a friendly, comfortable, and welcoming vibe. Highly recommended. Parking in the lot can be challenging, but there is also metered street parking. My favorite breakfast and brunch spot since moving to the neighborhood! (I have not tried dinners yet.) ”
“ I love this little place. It has cute decor. I loved that they bake their own bread. With our breakfast they give you a wood board with various slices of their homemade bread with several condiment dishes that have butter, real strawberry jam, herbed feta and the most amazing olives. Their mocha latte was perfect. Everyone was super nice and attentive. ”
“ Truly amazing food. The flavors are incredible. Showed up at 8:00 on a Saturday morning, was greeted by the amazing smell of bread baking., wife and I split an order of potato chops and an order of Assyrian egg rolls as appetizers, then each had an order of Assyrian breakfast. Sauces were incredible, meat was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, eggs cooked to perfection, and the bread tray was a beautiful and delicious presentation. Will definitely start coming regularly, this is one of those hidden gems!! ”
“ My best friend and I went to The Baker for brunch earlier today. It was my first time there and it was really good! We started off by sharing a bread basket with delicious jam made on-site! The avocado toast with egg was so good and very filling. The next time I go I'm going to try their French toast because that also looked amazing! ”

“ Food was amazing. We were searching bakery then this place popped up. Fresh bread daily. After we ordered they brought bread for the table they were all tasty and fresh. Loved served with fresh feta, olive, fresh butter and jam. Coffee was mild, it's from middle eastern imported coffee. Maybe not for dark roasted strong lovers. ”
“ Absolutely phenomenal breakfast! A bread platter with whipped butter, strawberry jam, herbed feta, and olives was brought before our meal and omg all of it was so good. My veggie eggs Benedict didn't come with a English muffin which I'm honestly ok with because I just ripped up some French bread from the bread platter and pressed it into the hollandaise and it was delicious. My husband ordered the baker's skillet and the only recommendation for future visitors we'd have is choosing any side other than potatoes because he didn't realize the skillet comes with potatoes in it. The service was very nice and attentive, and the location is gorgeous with a beautiful mural painted along the walls. We will definitely be back again! ”
“ Very nice concept. Bakery goods are A+. Pricing $. Coffee was a C. Bitter and needs improvement. Service/staff A+. Sometimes these concept restaurants are really bad, but this one is really great. I would just order one of the custom coffees next time and call it a day. I would definitely recommend that you try this place ”
